I bought a car off of Ebay...

I bought "The Open Tracker - Complete, Ready For The Track or Street" it was described as being a "show car" and "The Ultimate Lotus Seven Style Track Day, Autocross or Super Street Car"
Here is the Ebay Page
From These Folks:
Dave Wolin, Inc. www.DaveWolin.com - 559.760.1143
and/or (alias?)
www.TRVMotorsport.com - 559.658.2281
and/or (another ALIAS!!)

and ANOTHER alias!!!

I contacted them about the condition of the car and they indicated that the trucking company must have damaged/stripped the car. They had more pictures of the car on their website before I bought it but they have since claimed that they cannot find those pictures. If we had those pictures then we could easily file a claim with the trucking company - if the car had been damaged in transit.
Their exact words:

"Amazing - I can't imagine where the wiring went. As for the steering column; it used a little fabricated bracket that clamped to a frame tube to hold it in place. The lugnuts were actually Boyd pieces.

Don't know how to file a claim though. A1 Trucking claims to know nothing; none of these were noted or checked either on pickup or delivery. If nothing else, you got it cheap and there's nothing to serious to fix. On my end, I got burned by the trucking company and won't use them again.

Dave"
Do you think that giving them bad feedback on EBay would be enough?
Update - 2005-09-21
I Gave them Negative feedback on EBAY and pointed to this webpage

They gave me negative feedback on Ebay and claimed:
1) "beat them up on price"
- funny thing is I pushed the BUY IT NOW button
- which as I understand it, means I paid THEIR FULL PRICE.

2) "refused refund"
- They offered to refund my money - less shipping (CA to NC) - if I pay to ship the car back to them!!

Just totally stripped of all the wires except exactly what was needed to get the car on/off the trailer!
All of the wiring was gone even the alternator was disconnected!
There was another coil installed, even the wiring to it was gone!
All of the 'centercap's on the wheels were hanging off which made us suspicious, we took them off and found mismatched lugnuts! Someone must've REALLY wanted the lugnuts!!!
The wheels were held on with 3 lugnuts each and 1/2 of the lugnuts were 13/16" and 1/2 were 3/4"!!!
The steering shaft was broken loose from it's mounting (actually there wasn't any mounting left!) -
here is a 4MB movie of how it "spun circles" when you moved the steering wheel!
It was scary driving it - now I understand why!
The steering rack was broken and the front cowl was filled with steering fluid!
Here is a picture of where they clipped the wiring from the taillights!! They must've been desperate to steal that little amount of wiring!
The engine had 'pools' of oil and/or gas on the intake, not sure if it was there before or if they damaged something in transit.
ALL of the dash wiring was gone except exactly what was needed to start the car.

I asked for more pictures to verify that the
trucking company damaged the car and I got these:

This doesn't show much, and why has the picture been obviously doctored?
This one either and I believe this picture been doctored as well
(look under the car)
This doesn't show much, but at least the picture hasn't been doctored!!
